OVERALL
We hope you love Bedworth Miners Welfare Park as much as we do and want to help us keep it one of Bedworth’s favourite green spaces. We are dedicated to reducing the environmental impact of the festival and need your help to make it happen.
TRAVEL
The emissions from travelling to the festival make to the larger part of the festivals carbon footprint.
Please use public transport as much as you can as this is much better for the environment.
By Train
The closest train station is Bedworth (BEH) West Midlands Railway. Which is located along Bulkington Road. The train station itself is a 5 Min walk from the Miners Welfare Park.
BIN SYSTEM
We are tying to reduce as much single-use plastic as we can. We are runing a two-bin system at the festival, which means every bin station will be formed by 2 bins:
RECYCLE – Plastic bottles, aluminium cans, newspapers, magazines and clean and dry cardboard (no used greasy pizza boxes as these do not recycle).
GENERAL WASTE – There should be minimal left over that goes into General Waste.
BIN YOUR BUTTS
Every butt has to be picked up by hand, so it would be great if you did not flick your cigarette and put it out before you bin it.
